From fitting a scope to an old air rifle or refinishing a quality English shotgun, our workshop offers a full range of services, including: servicing, fault finding, making parts, threading, power testing, fitting pads, stock alterations and general repairs.
Gun Fitting
We offer free gun fitting advice, and have Over/Under and Side by Side Try guns to help measure up.
Advice
With over 150 years’ combined experience we have been quizzed on all subjects related to shooting, including shotguns, cartridges, rifles, ammunition, air rifles, pistols, licences, exporting, importing and just about anything you can think of. If you need some advice, come in and see us in store or give us a call.
Transfers
We can accept incoming transfers from mail order purchases that require a dealer ‘face-to-face’. We can also send guns to UK mainland or abroad.
Exporting/importing
We hold an open import licence for section 1 and section 2 guns, and can also sort licences to export guns.
Lessons and coaching
We offer clay shooting lessons and have 2 CPSA registered coaches. Lessons are held on-site at the Saddlery & Gunroom and last for 50 minutes. Lessons are either individual at a cost of £50 or group (up to four people) costing £110 per session. We can also host corporate team building events or light-hearted stag and hen shoots.
